All on one level and full of natural light, it’s a peaceful retreat for couples or small families seeking a relaxed countryside escape.

The Beehive sleeps 4 (+ infant) across two bedrooms and has been thoughtfully designed to feel both contemporary and rooted in the farm’s history. Some of the exposed timber you’ll see throughout the cottage — including the striking master bedroom headboard and solid wood window sills — was milled from trees grown right here at Cheverton. It’s a small detail, but one that makes this place feel truly part of the land.

Inside, you’ll find a bright open-plan living space with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable seating for slow mornings and relaxed evenings after a day exploring the Isle of Wight.

The master bedroom features that beautiful handcrafted timber headboard, softly lit for cosy nights, while the second bedroom offers flexible space for children or friends travelling together.

The cottage has also been designed with ease of movement in mind. Being entirely on one level, it includes wider doorways, comfort-height toilets, and a spacious walk-in shower with a fixed seat and grab handles. These features can make The Beehive a comfortable choice for guests with limited mobility who prefer step-free living.

Step out onto your private patio with a morning coffee, listen to birdsong from the hedgerows, and wander over to the indoor heated pool or farmyard when the mood takes you. It’s an Isle of Wight farm stay with muddy boots outside and warm wood tones within.
